Just make sure you are using either Microsoft I.E. 6.x or Mozilla 1.x or better, because the donation software does not work properly with Netscape.
Yes, go through the Donate Online and on the 3rd page where you are asked for your "Payment
Method" use the pull down menu and pick "Invoice". We will send you a Pledge Invoice with a
remittance envelope and you can mail us your donation. This is a much slower process then either
using a credit card or using our Donation Form - to make donations by mail. So we recommend using the donation form instead.
If you are unable to print the form, that is O.K., just use it to verify that your donation meets the standards set by the F.E.C. If you can check off that you can "confirm that the following statements are true and accurate: [ ] *Check Here" then
your donation meets these standards. Make your check payable to Citizens For A Better America ® and mail it to the address listed above.
Federal Election Law (FEC.GOV) requires compliance with the following statements:
If you can confirm that the following statements are true and accurate then you qualify to donate.
I can not see the page or I get a 404 page not found error when I click to donate, what is wrong?
Check your browser, this is usually a browser issue. Currently our online donation software requires the use at the minimum either Microsoft Internet Explorer 6, Netscape 7.x or Mozilla 1x (Mozilla is an open source browser developed by those who developed the original Netscape, so if you liked
Netscape we think you will like Mozilla).
It is our continual goal to keep our websites as browser friendly as possible and on the rest of our website you should be able to view it with any browser, but because of security concerns there are less browsers that can be used with credit card
processing software.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you are in another browser all you need to do is to swipe the address above, in the address bar; copy and paste it in one of the browsers that will work with the software. If you get an error page
using either I.E. or Mozilla then please let me know, and if you find another browser that works I'd like to know that as well, Webmaster@cfaba.org
I use Netscape will I have any problems?
Yes, we have had some reported problems with Netscape. The donation pages do not display or are not displayed properly. While in some versions they appear to work actually they do not function properly and the graphics are not displayed right. You may
not be able to use Netscape to make a donation. Maybe a future update will fix this problem. We share your disappointment as Netscape is one of the browsers we use ourselves. We have found that Mozilla (Mozilla 1x) is a good substitute and it works fine with the donation software.
See also I can not see the page or I get a 404 page not found error when I click to donate, what is wrong?
Is it secure to make my donation online?
Yes, we use a secure server to process all your information. You will need to use either Microsoft Internet Explorer 6x or Mozilla 1x or better to use the secure server. (See also, I can not see the page or I get a 404 page not found
error when I click to donate.)
Both of these browsers show a closed lock when you are on a secure page, so be sure to always check for the 'close lock' symbol on the bottom right hand side.
When you click on
DONATE ONLINE
you will notice the lock has changed to closed, you will also notice the "BBBOnLine Reliability" logo on the bottom of the page and
that it is a "thawte secure site".
What if the lock on the bottom of my browser is not closed?
If the lock is not closed do not proceed. Email us at Webmaster@cfaba.org and let us know what browser you are using and what address came up in the address line. The browser version can usually be found under
the 'Help' menu in 'About'. This will help us keep our site secure and serve our donors better.
What information are you going to ask for?
We will need you to choose how much you wish to donate. We have various levels and projects to choose from. Our regular membership is $60.00 a year. After you choose a donation amount then you will be asked to provide us your name address and other
information, including your Occupation and Employer. This information is required by Federal Regulation. You can look at our mail in Donation Form - to make donations by mail which asks for the same information. Lastly you
will be asked your payment method. You can choose credit card (Master Card, Visa or Discover) or invoice (this is like a pledge and we will invoice you ).

Why does the 'Continue' button not show up?
On the first page you must both choose an amount to donate and check off that you agree to the above terms before you will be able to proceed.
Why does nothing happen when I click the 'Continue' button?
On the first page you must both choose an amount to donate and check off that you agree to the above terms before you will be able to proceed. If you have done both, then try unchecking and rechecking the 'agree to these terms' box. It seems that in
sometimes this or refreshing the page and entering the data again solves the problem. If the problem persists please email us at Webmaster@cfaba.org
Why do I have to "agree to the above terms"?
As a non-connected political committee we have to follow very specific federal regulations.
