We want to make you aware that on Wednesday, April 30, 2008 we confirmed that some spammer(s) have used our HQ@cfaba.org e-mail address as a return address in their spam.
We had nothing to do with this illegal activity.
While we have used this email address since September 2000, we have taken the unusual step of cancelling and deleting the e-mail address, hq@cfaba.org, We will no longer receive mail at that address.
You can still contact us by e-mail. Please use our address on our Contact Information page if you wish to e-mail us. We have used encryption on the new e-mail address in an attempt to protect this address from being harvested by
spammers.
Our email address hq@cfaba.org was on an enormous number of legitimate email lists all over the USA. We do not have the resources to go back to all those lists and notify them of a change of address. So, we invite them to use our Contact Information page to obtain our new address.
