Citizens For A Better America ® solemnly calls for the impeachment of President Clinton.

Citizens For A Better America’s Honorary National Chairman Congressman Bill Dannemeyer serving in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1979 to 1992 strongly believes that President Clinton must be impeached and has written several documents to substantiate why he believes so.
Congressman Dannemeyer has worked tirelessly to investigate and bring forward to the American people why he strongly believes that the President has committed impeachable offenses. He has written both letters and resolutions. We have attached some of those documents to help you in your decision making. In his November 11, 1998 letter to U.S. House Judiciary Committee Chairman Henry Hyde, Congressman Dannemeyer states:
“Please avoid the trap of structuring this issue exclusively on the tragedy of Monica Lewinsky. She represents at most 5% of the misdeeds of the Clinton presidency which justify his impeachment. Her contribution to the whole picture is nevertheless important because her involvement made Clinton admit he lied, and lied under oath.”
We at Citizens For A Better America ® join Congressman Dannemeyer in calling for President Clinton’s impeachment. This is not about sex but about lying. It’s about lying to protect himself. It is about President Clinton using his office of president to protect his own personal interests, not the interests of the people. It’s about him not just doing that once but repeatedly. Anything less than impeachment demeans the office of president and that demeans us all.
As Robert Colaco, National Chairman said in his August 17th, 1998 Commentary entitled “It’s all about a Lie”, it’s all about a lie. And as Ricky W. Rock, one of our Executive Advisory Committee Members, wrote “Mr. Clinton is not a king, he is a person subject to the same laws as you and I.” In fact we at Citizens For A Better America ® believe that as President he is held to even a higher standard because he is supposed to be a leader and thereby an example to us all.
Members of Congress, please show your leadership and do what is right for this Country not only in the short term but in the long term as well. Both, your great grandchildren and ours will thank you.
