    NEWS RELEASE:

    Friday, February 21, 2003

    For Immediate Release:

It is with great sadness that CFABA.ORG announces support for the effort to Recall Governor Davis.

“I am deeply saddened that we must join the effort to recall California’s Governor Gray Davis,” said Robert Colaco, the Volunteer National Chairman and Founder of Citizens For A Better America® with the acronym of (CFABA.ORG).

“When I founded CFABA.ORG on October 15, 1992 I was driven to have an organization that would basically concentrate its efforts in electing Morality and Values based candidates for public office from the very lowest to the very highest political positions all over the United States of America,” said Colaco.

“It is with great dismay that we as the leadership of Citizens For A Better America® announce today that we are joining the effort to recall California Governor Gray Davis,” said Colaco. During that first election of November 1992, we did publish a “Bad Guys List,” however, we have basically not done that since then," said Colaco.

“We believed that it was far better to attempt to find candidates that we could endorse and really be proud of when they got elected to the public offices,” said Colaco.

“In 1998 we joined the effort to impeach President Bill Clinton. Our Honorary National Chairman, Congressman Bill Dannemeyer wrote a great many letters and documents to encourage his former colleagues in the Congress to impeach former President Bill Clinton and remove him from office. We commended the Congress for doing so then, and were disappointed that the U.S. Senate did not remove President Clinton from office,” said Colaco. See [http://www.cfaba.org/impeach/].

“Governor Gray Davis, has brought about a great deal of damage to the Taxpayers, Citizens, Residents, and Businesses in California,” said Colaco.

“A partial list of the reasons to remove Governor Gray Davis are as follows:

    01. A thirty five billion dollar deficit, $35,000,000,000.

    02. Massive debts incurred as a result of the “energy crisis.”

    03. Ignoring the will of the Citizens of California that voted for Proposition 22, entitled: “Limit on Marriages. Initiative Statute.” The results of that vote were Yes votes received 4,618,673 votes representing 61.4% of the vote. No votes received 2,909,370 votes representing 38.6% of the vote. Votes Not Cast was 353,956 or 4.5%. California passed Prop. 22 on the March 7, 2000 ballot.
